Community Meets for business is not just a slogan. It’s a maxim that can help your enterprise grow!
If you’re a business or organisation looking to build your profile and create a culture that reflects your values, then sharing your events to our What’s on list is a surefire way to reach out and achieve penetration across all levels of the community.
Here we will explore how Community Meets can help you run and promote an attention-grabbing show. It’s quick, simple and, more importantly, effective.
Connecting people. It’s what we do. It’s what you do.
The Human Touch in Business
Businesses come in many forms, but they are all defined by their relationship to their customers. Studies, and common sense, show that clients are more loyal and more likely to stick around when they feel valued as more than a means to turn a profit. Furthermore, companies are increasingly aware that people identify them with lifestyles and concepts, and what better way to forge that than to organise events that reflect your values, for the benefit of your staff, employees or clients.
The cliche is of deals being struck on the golf course, but times have moved on and chin-wagging and hand shaking take place via the Twitter sphere and the meet and greet. It’s time to sell yourself. Community Meets can help.
How It Works
So let’s get down to the nitty-gritty of how Community Meets can help.
In a nutshell, we help you connect you with your audience or members through the magic of activities. Human interaction is a wonderful thing and bringing people together is what we are all about.
To get started, simply post an event or start a group. You’ll then be able to;
- Post one-off and recurring events
- Setup online and offline events
- Recreate your favourite events in seconds
- Grant various levels of admin access
- Promote events in ‘What’s on’ list
- and much much more….
Spend less time planning, and more time doing!
Getting people on board
Once a Group or Organisers page is all sorted, you’ll be ready to post your first event or group activity. All events and activities appear in the What’s on list, and groups can be found in the Join a Group list. By having an event listed, more people are likely to attend and/or follow you.
Here’s an article on how to set up and manage your events.
Promote, Promote, Promote
Once an event is posted, use the activity page ‘Invite’ and ‘Share’ tools to spread the word.
People that show interest in an event can elect to follow you, when they do, they automatic receive invitations to upcoming events. Members and others can also share event details with their friends and others.
Social media is an important tool when it comes to advertising, ideally you should engage with potential attendees before, during and after the event!
There will always be a lot of last minute details to be tied up before any event.
When things change, you’ll be able to edit the activity form or post updates. Members that are registered their interest on the activity page will be notified, which is a useful detail given how even the best-laid plans often go awry.
In addition to updates, you can message those following you or post comments directly at the Activity pages. Keep the communication flowing to keep members engaged, and when the event kicks-off, it will make it is easier to rub shoulders when everything is up and running.
That’s our brief run-down of how Community Meet can help business. Businesses have lots of opportunities for building stronger connections inside and outside the company.
