Posting an Event
Here’s the part where we get down to the nitty-gritty! At Community Meets, We want to reflect your needs, and we understand that those can be different depending on your end goals, your business, and because of a whole host of other factors. So we provide several options when it comes to getting started, which we outline here.
1. Interest Groups
These pages are perfect for rallying a group of people around an interest or hobby.
By choosing to Start a Group, you will have access to powerful tools that will help you to establish a new group, manage an existing group, and create all sorts of amazing events for your members. We’ve made it easy to import and manage existing contacts, membership lists, to share admin duties with other people, post updates and changes and to promote across social media. Inviting people is a cinch: group members are usually automatically invited, and on-page invite and share tools make it easy to spread the word and get others on-board.

2. Community Groups
We all want to make the world a better place, right?”
Well a Community Group is the perfect place to unite people around a cause, mission or location. At the Community page, not only do you have access to all the ‘interest group’ features, you‘ll also be able to authorise community members and other event organisers to contribute events to the page. This is great way of engaging community members and grow the events list. Imagine, all your communities events, conveniently located in a single location.
Community groups are jammed packed with tools and features.
3. Event Organisers
If you don’t want to setup or actively manage an Interest or Community group, you can still post events to our activity list. Simply go straight to new activity form, complete the form, and post your event. Alternatively, for a greater site presence and dedicated URL, setup an About Page. All your events will then be linked to About page, and members and others will be able to learn more about you.
No matter which option you run with, you’ll have full access to smart event management tools and features, making it easy to share and promote your upcoming events. You can also direct people interested in your events to register on or off page.
