Come for the walk…
Come to make new friendships…
Come to escape life for a few hours and feel the fresh air of bushland….
Or simply come for yummy snack and a lovely healthy picnic lunch with a cup of tea or coffee, and a chat.
Picture perfect Olinda Falls is located in the Dandenong Ranges, just an hour from Melbourne’s CBD. This hike is a little more challenging than our previous mid-week walks, challenging those who are ready to take on a Grade 3 walk, as the path can also be slippery in parts (if you aren’t sure if this is you, just ask!).
The walk is 9km, where we will embark up the hill to reach the top of the falls themselves. With Spring in the air, there should be an array of native flowers to view as we walk. With viewing areas for both the upper and lower falls, we will enjoy a yummy morning tea of scones, as well as an indulgent, but well deserved lunch. Hopefully, we will also hear a delightful chorus of different native birds to keep us company along the path!
