Our walk winds explores both the winding scenic valleys and ridgelines plus explores some every unique and interesting gold mining relics. Lerderderg State Park offers a true bush experience and walking is the best way to get to know the park – so join our experienced staff for a fully guided, enjoyable and social day out exploring some wonderful areas.
This walk starts at the popular O’Briens Crossing and heads downstream along a narrow technical section of trail, with the occasional log to hop over and rock to step across, this part of the walk can get a little technical. We then cross over the Lerderderg River and have a lovely lunch, before our longest ascent of the day up Nolan Track. Once on the ridge line, we follow Nolan Track, then down Amblers Lane, before joining the flat and super awesome Lerderderg Track back to the start. A truly great exploration of this wonderful area.
